About

Hey! My name is Ellen.

I’m an occupational therapist and dancer and I created FlowLab. As an OT I love to get people doing things because it’s when we are doing things we enjoy that we are the most open to learning.

Having danced myself from a young age I know on a personal level the benefits that dance can have, from physical coordination to planning, social skills, creativity and confidence.

Bringing these two skill sets and passions together I am able to share with kids the benefits of movement without the competition, social consequences and pressure associated with many other movement pursuits.

Challenges in coordination, self regulation and creativity have been the three things that stuck out to me over the last three years practicing as an OT in child development. They have therefore become the basis of my initial programmes for FlowLab.
